INSTRUCTIONS
PREPARATIONS
Two containers, one for making mold, one for plaster filling (can be a one-time cup that can accommodate your baby's hand or foot. Transparent container is preferable)
30-35oC water (pure or tap water, but do NOT use mineral water)
Chopsticks or a Mixer (Optional)
Spoon (Optional)
Thermometer (Optional)
Stopwatch (Recommended)
Baby oil (Optional)

THE PROCESS
Molding
Mix the mold powder with water (water is about 1.2-1.5 times of the powder volume. Make sure it's in liquid form & pour-able)
The color will turn pink/purple when mixing
Pour mixture into the container
Casting
Prepare your baby's hand/foot with baby oil before putting it into the liquid. This helps your baby feel comfortable hand her/his hand/foot comes out easily later.
Put your baby's hand/foot in and keep it stable for 3 to 5 minutes (may vary, but more than 5 minutes is completely fine and will not compromise the mold) for the liquid to solidify. Your baby's hand or foot must be soaked in the liquid. Do not stick to the wall of the container. It's best to distract your baby with something then she/he keeps her/his hand/foot stable inside the mixture.
Carefully remove your baby's hand/foot out of the mold. Make sure you check & take out anything left inside the mold.
Mix the model powder with water. Don't water too much and make sure it turns into liquid and pourable. Try to minimize air bubbles.
Slowly and carefully fill the mold with casting liquid/mixture. Avoid making a bubble inside. Once poured, tap the container repeatedly to help release air bubbles trapped in the mold. Wait for 3-5 hours or more to get the mold dried, but no more than 12 hours.
Slowly remove the outer mold with your hands (and knife if you like). There you have your 3D plaster casting hand/foot of your baby. Place it in a ventilated place for 24 hours or more to dry.
This additional step (optional) is even more fun: color painting your baby's hand/foot. You need to prepare it yourself since we don't provide these items. Before you paint, spray a primer layer first to make your product sleek or glossy. Then paint with whatever the color you prefer. Done
!!! You may need a helper to assist you, and we recommend that if your baby is too wriggly to make their hand and foot molds at the first attempt, to then wait and do it when they are fast asleep.
